Math Class Rules
Behavior Expectations:
We expect you to RESPECT other people, the class, the learning process, and the property of others and to follow Mr. Hennig’s or any substitute instructions at all times. Do not use profanity or tell anyone to SHUT UP. I will not give warnings dealing with language. No food, hats, or drinks except water are allowed in the class. If you loose your barter chips, duplicates will not be issued. You have 12 chips to use for the entire year. Parents will be notified if you misuse these.
Consequences:
Inappropriate language or SHUT UP will result in the loss of one barter chip, math standards one page or 20 pieces of trash from outside. Mr. Hennig’s choice if this is a constant problem. Profanity will result in the loss of two chips, math standards all pages or 40 pieces of trash from outside. Severe problems can result in: removal from class, in house with multiplication problems assigned followed with a phone call to your parent, student/teacher conference, parent conference or referral for teacher defiance. Removal from class or being sent outside= loss of all extra credit points earned up to that point.
Tardiness and Dismissal:
Please BE INSIDE OF THE ROOM WITH HAND OFF THE DOOR HANDLE before the tardy bell finishes ringing to avoid being marked tardy. You will stay after class the amount of time of the tardiest person. The school tardy policy applies to all tardies accumulated beyond the third. Everyone must stay seated until the teacher dismisses class or until the bell rings. Do not sit on top of the desks; wear your backpacks or hats during class.
If you cheat, you will loose all your extra credit points and loose the ability to ever earn them. I want to see what you know, not what your friend or neighbor does._____________________________________________________________________
